I made this card for the Crop Chocolate challenge #23, the challenge was to use 3 different patterns. I normally don't mix patterns so this was a bit of a challenge for me. I have been seeing a lot of hexagons lately, and I decided to dust of my CM hexagon punch and try it out. I used scraps from my MME Lost and Found paper. I really like how it turned out and I am going to try this again, plus its a great way to used scraps.

Spread your wings and fly
I made this for the CropChocolate challenge #24, this challenge was to do what ever we wanted. I had these great pictures taken of my kids at Easter and I have been wanting to use them and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. First I have to give kudos to the great photographer, I think she has seen my stash because she colored some of the pictures to match my Lost and Found Paper. They were taken by the very talented Julie Nicole Photography, I can't say enough great things about her. She is great with kids and has a fantastic eye. I have some more waiting to be scrapped and I can't wait to get them done as the recent ones she did were even better. My kids love going to see her and even though my son is a two year old and doesn't want to cooperate she manages to get some good ones of him.

Core'dinations Hard Core Crop Pinterest Challenge
I made this card for the Core'dinations hard core crop Pinterest challenge, Ellen's challenge was to scraplift a project from the Core'dinations Pinterest boards. Here is the project I chose.
I love grid type projects, something about the clean design really appeals to me. Here is my take on the layout. I really enjoy using the white wash paper, and this is what I wanted to make the tooth fairy card from but my daughter was very set on using the red and pink color core papers. So I used it on this challenge instead.

Core'dinations Hard Core Crop Journalling Challenge
I made this card for the Core'dinations hard core crop journalling challenge, Char's challenge was to create a journalling tag and for an added bonus to include a child in the creation. I saw the challenge on Wednesday night and thought about what I wanted to make the next day when I got a call at work. My 5yr old daughter had lost her first tooth (where does the time go), but she must have swallowed it because she didn't know where it went. She was very worried that she wouldn't get a visit from the tooth fairy without her tooth to put under the pillow. My friend suggested we write the tooth fairy a note and then it hit me, I could get my daughter to help make a tag and we could put the note on the one side. When I told her the idea she was very excited and decided to help make the card as well. She picked the paper for the card (red) and the tag should as well (pink). To be honest these were not the colors I would have chosen but they were the ones she was set on so I decided to go with it. We created the card together and the pocket for her to put the tag for the tooth fairy. I wrote the note and she wrote her name at the bottom, and then we put it in the pocket and put it under her pillow. That night the tooth fairy sneaked in and created a small pocket and wrote her a note too. She even used the Core'dinations and sanded the score lines for her note. My daughter was so excited to get a note back from the tooth fairy, I am going to use both notes on the scrapbook page of her first lost tooth.

Core'dinations Hard Core Crop Die Cut Challenge
I made this easel card for the Core'dinations hard core crop. This was for Andrea's challenge, the challenge was to create a layered and dimensional die cut with Core'dinations paper. I made the flower from some purple Core'dinations I had and then embossed and sanded to get the other color to come through. If you haven't used their card stock before you should. It is very heavy but has the added benefit of a different color once you sand the surface.

Crop Chocolate Challenge #22
I made this layout for the latest Crop Chocolate challenge. This challenge required you to use pastels, a dark bold color and "some bling for good measure". This was great as I am trying to finish a trip album and my son's first year album for a while and I knew I could use this for one of those albums. I choose these pictures of my son and daughter, they were taken at the same age and in the same car seat and bumbo chair. I thought it was cute to see them side by side 3 years apart.

Criss Cross Card-Masculine and Femine Challenge
I made this card for another Crop Chocolate challenge, but forgot to post it. The challenge for this one was to create a project using a mix of masculine and feminie elements. I found this one hard becuase I struggle with masculine projects to begin with but adding a femine element made it even harder. I really like how this turned out and this is the nice thing about challenges. It gets me out of my confort zone, the colors on this are not ones I would normally work with but they suited the challenge and it gives me inspiration to work with brighter colors.

Crop Chocolate Challenge Card
I made this for a crop chocolate challenge a couple weeks ago, the challenge was to use something you wouldn't normally use, bling, and card stock. I decided to create a stamped background which is something I haven't done in years, and I made some rolled flowers and some MM bling to create this simple birthday card I needed something that wasn't kiddie and I think this did the trick.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer I know we have been busy and that is why its been a bit quiet. I recently received some new storage binders so watch out for a post on my new storage method.
Supplied used:
Bazzill Cardstock
Bo Bunny Sunburst Stamps
MM Bling
