Easel Card
This is a project that I submitted for the crop chocolate design team. Its an easel card made using Basic Grey Wisteria paper, and a flower I made from Spellbinders Blossom 2. There will be a video tutorial on how to make this flower on the Crop Chocolate blog in July. If you haven't shopped Crop Chocolate you should take a look at their site. They allow you to buy stuff and save it in your cart, you can then swap other items with other members which is a great feature. If you are looking for a past deal post ISO (in search of) in the crop swap section and the members will do your best to help you. I haven't been let down yet, the ladies on that site are awesome when comes to helping a fellow member. Make sure you get the hot chocolate when you check out. Its $2.50 for a grab bag worth at least $5.00 but I always get more than that. Plus I love the surprise, its my favorite part of the order.

My first post
Wow, I can't believe that I am actually starting a blog. I have thought about doing one over the years but I never got around to doing one. I only hope that I can create interesting and relevant postings. I plan to post about once a week and I will post a project that I am working on. I love paper crafting and got started when I had my daughter four years ago. My husband suggested I ask my friend how to make a scrapbook and I was hooked. I am sure that there are days he regrets suggesting this, but at least he never has to worry about what to get me for Christmas, birthdays, anniversary, etc. I always have a wishlist for him to order and I am even willing to place the order. I will start my first blog post with pictures from my craft room and then my next post will be a project. These are pictures from when the basement was just finished (still needed some trim, etc) and before I moved in and made a mess of it all. The left side of the room is actually the office and the tall cabinet is my husbands book case (he has a lot). The right side with the higher cabinets is my side but my daughter gets great use out of it too and has her own stash and supplies.
