HIMCR #260 - Christmas in July!!
Welcome to the Christmas in July Challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room, this weeks challenge is sponsored by DCWV. They are one of my favorite paper companies and I personally love their stacks for mini albums especially, its very economical especially when you give them as gifts. I made this card from the French Country Stack, it wasn't Christmas but I love the shabby/vintage look of this stack and these papers were the perfect backdrop for this Snow Peep from Unity. Don't forget to enter for your chance to win a box of goodies worth $100, I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Supplies used: DCWV, Unity Stamps, Shinhan Touch Markers, Stickles

Too Beautiful for Earth
I originally intended to make this card as a sympathy card for a friend who lost his father but I have to admit I love this stamp too much to use on something that will likely get tossed (normally doesn't bother me but this one did). So instead I decided to switch it up and use it for the Unity Color Challenge instead. I love how the image turned out but I wasn't a fan of the ink, I borrowed it from a friend at a crop because I forgot my black (gasp) and while she is a stamper herself I have no idea how she doesn't get blurred lines. I decided to work with it though and purposely blurred the grass at the bottom.

Mini Album #3
This is my final post of the mini albums I made for Christmas gifts. I made them for non scrapbookers so I made the photomats 4.5" x 6.5" so that they would fit 4x6 pictures without cropping. This is the album I gave to my mom and she loved it. The albums made a nice dent in my stash which despite my best efforts seems to grow when I am not looking. I used some Phyllis Harris and Echo Park stamps from Unity on the photo/journalling mats. I liked the look of stamping on patterned paper and I am going to try it again.
Here is a video of all the albums I made since its hard to get good pictures of the albums themselves.
Supplies used: Unity Stamps, Stickles, DCWV Butterflies and Blossoms paper, Spellbinders Flying Beauties, MS Doily Lace Punch, AC Glitter Paper, Bling

Crop Chocolate Blog Hop
Welcome to the Crop Chocolate blog hop, if you just came accross this please go to Beth's Blog and start from there, I am the next stop on the hop and here is my project. I actually made two projects, one is called a sour cream holder and I put some treats for my daughter inside, and the second is a mini pizza box (not an actual pizza box just one I made) with a mini album for my husband inside. I will post a tutorial soon for these but I made them from MME Lush Paper and some other goodies I got at Crop Chocolate.
Please leave a comment on each of the blogs and you will be entered to win a prize from We Scrap, they have a great forum and some great kits so check them out. Your next stop on the hop is Jamie's Blog, good luck to everyone.
