Love notes

I made these note cards for an online crop I am participating in, but I just love how this simple design turned out.  These are for the kids lunches and they will be great for Valentines day.  The nice thing about this was that I was able to use scraps and next time I think I will make a set of cards.  These would make a nice set of cards to use as a gift.

Friends with Flair-Dreams

I just got this new set of dies and couldn't wait to play with them, they are so elegant and I just love the embossing and debossing that the can do.  They are so elegant, I think they will become my new go to die, I can't wait to really play with this set.  I think it would look amazing on a layout and that is going to be my next project with it.

Die Cut Easel Card

I just love making easel cards and one of my favorite kinds is the die cut easel card.  The only thing is that not all my family knows how to open them and it can be a a bit awkward when I have to show them how to open it and display it.  Luckily I think I have them all trained by now and I can make them to my hearts content

Chirstmas in July

I made this card for two challenges, the first was the Crop Chocolate challenge to create a Winter Theme project, and the second was for a Unity's Friends with Flair.  I know its July so it was a bit hard to create a wintery project but this is one of my favorite stamp sets from Unity called Snowflake Kisses so it wasn't too hard.
Speaking of challenges I am hosting the next one and this theme gave me an idea, my challenge is about resolutions.  My resolution is to start using the washi tape I have bought and my second is to leave more comments on the CC challenges.  There are two prizes for a $10 GC so go check it out here.

Glitter Flowers

I made this birthday card for my Mom's birthday, and I decided to combine it with a challenge at Crop Chocolate as well.  The challenge was to use ribbon and something else (bling, glitter, buckles, etc).  So I decided to use glitter.  I made the flower by stamping Aztec Flowers 2 using embossing ink, and then using heat and stick powder.  I then heated the powder till it melted and viola I have a great glue for glitter, then I sprinkled black glitter on the glue and cut the flowers out with my spellbinders.  The heat and stick powder is great for glitter it doesn't flake off at all.  I had tried the glue pads for stamps but the glue never seemed to hold and then someone suggested heat and stick powder and what a difference.

Daddy's Little Princess

I recently got this Paris Girl paper by Carta Bella and I am loving this new paper.  It's very heavy and has a beautiful texture.  The colors were perfect for some recent family pictures, I love this picture but when I see it I think of how much she is growing up on us.  It seems like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital.
