HIMCR # 256 - Any Holiday

This week the challenge from Hiding My Craft Room is to create a project for any holiday.  I was given this wonderful stamp from Sami Stamps.  I just love how the kitten looks, my daughter is in love with this stamp and is already planning to use it on her tribute to her recently deceased kitty.  This weeks prize is a $12 Gift Certificate to their store, all you need to do is link your project to Hiding In My Craft Room and follow the rules to make sure you qualify.  Good luck and I look forward to seeing your creations.

HIMCR #255 - Masculine !

It's another Saturday which means its time for a new Hiding in My Craft Room Challenge.  This weeks challenge is masculine and its being sponsored by Pickled-Potpourri.  They have generously donated a Gift Certificate for their store.  Since Father's day is this Sunday I decided to make a Father's day card for my husband.  I loved these cute trains and think they were perfect for father's day.  Unfortunately it looks like my red marker is almost dried out so the red color isn't as smooth as I would have liked so I guess I need to do some shopping ;).

Hiding in My Craft Room - Scraps Challenge

I am so excited to announce that I am now part of the Hiding in My Craft Room design team (HIMCR).  It's a challenge blog and each week there are great prizes.  This weeks challenge was to use your scraps.  My favorite way to use my scraps is to grab my hexagon punch and punch out a bunch especially when I use my 6x6 pads.  To enter just follow this link and link up your project and you will be entered in to a draw for some Sweet and Sassy stamps.  I used a cute flower pot kid stamp for this weeks challenge.  I decided not to add a sentiment because I am going to add it when I need it since I can't decide if it should be a baby shower card or birthday card for a little girl.  I like to have a stash of blank cards on hand because it makes it easy when I need one.

Happy Mothers Day

Now that Mother's day is past, I can post the cards I made for my mom and mother in law.  I love this stamp set from Unity.  I cut the butterfly out and popped it up with some foam dots and cut out the frame with a spellbinders set.  I am entering this in the Hiding in My Craftroom Challenge, you can also enter here
