Mother's Day Cards and Second Sketch Attempt
This is the card I made for both my Mother and Mother in law for Mother's Day. The last time I tried this sketch I was pretty literal with it but this time I took more liberties with it (that sounds kind of funny in the context of a card ;) ). I am happier with the result but I think for the card set I am going to try something different since I don't think this is the sketch for me (I really struggled with it).

I think your card is beautiful, and I empathize with you about the sketch. I am sketch-challenged, so I mostly just don't do them. I think it's because I don't like to be told what to do. :)
ReplyDeleteI think your card is beautiful. I agree with Shona. I think sometimes it's hard to follow the rules. I never know when I'm pushing the boundaries so much, I've no longer followed the sketch.
