Here is my project for the Hop
I created this gift card holder from BG 6x6 Wisteria paper. I got some of these 6x6 pads a while ago and after a few cards they sat around. Now I am in love with the 6x6 pads again and can’t wait to get more in my next order. This was such a fun project to make and it goes together easily which means I don’t mind giving it away knowing it might get tossed (GASP I know).
Here are the instructions
1 Take a 6x6 piece of paper and cut it down to 4x6
2 Score the 4x6 piece of paper in the middle and fold
3 Cut the 2x6 piece in half to create 2 pieces that are 2x3
4 Take a 2x3 piece and score it ¼” in on 3 sides (2 short and 1 long side)
5 Fold the score lines to create your pocket (note I miter cut the bottom corners on a 45 degree angle so that corners are flat but that is optional)
6 Apply adhesive to the three folds and attach pocket to the bottom right side of the holder (leave the opening at the top, this is where your gift card goes)
7 Next from the remaining piece cut it to1x3 and fold in half. This will become your closure. Attach half to the back and then use velcro or magnets to attach to the front.
8 Decorate the front and inside as desired and you are finished.
Thanks for stopping by and here is the next blog on the hop
